How to unlock broom flight

1. Work through the Broom Closet and return its loose brooms to storage.
2. Use the selected item name and rack symbols to distinguish the brooms rather than treating every broom as interchangeable.
3. Look for the room-completion banner announcing that flight is available.
4. Activate the flight ability using your current binding. The recording’s unlock prompt shows 4.
5. Check the flight controls and your Steam achievement status once airborne.

Our suggested sorting routine is to handle one recognizable broom type at a time, then review the next rack. The video shows names including Regular Broom, Twig Broom and Evil Broom during this sequence; these are examples, not a complete broom inventory.

What the unlock screen actually proves

At 16:55, the game explicitly announces that the Broom Closet is tidy and flight is unlocked. A broom ability icon with the 4 binding appears at the lower left. This is stronger evidence than assuming that a broom named Magic Broom can be ridden directly from inventory.

The same frame shows 28/28 items but 24/40 shelves. Do not turn those old counter values into a universal unlock formula or assume the shelf denominator must be full. Use the explicit completion and flight message in your current game.

Flight controls and Born To Fly

At 17:05, the player is airborne in the Apothecary. The on-screen controls show Space to rise and C to sink. The Born To Fly achievement notification is visible at the lower right in the same frame.

These are the bindings shown in this recording. If you have rebound controls or play with another input device, use the prompts in your own game. We have not tested flight duration, cooldown upgrades or controller bindings.

If you have a broom but cannot fly

First distinguish the object in your inventory from the flight ability on the HUD. Return to the Broom Closet and check whether the unlock message has appeared, then inspect the ability binding. Carrying or tossing a sorting broom is not the activation shown in the evidence.

If one physical broom is missing, read the updated missing broom note. The October 16 patch relocated one broom into the Apothecary, so the October 14 video should not be used as its current location map. For a broader review, use the completion checklist.
